Independence Day Celebration 2024

Get a jump on celebrating our nation's birthday! Spend the day in St Germain and join in the fun!

Tie your sneakers up and participate in the Freedom 5K and 1K Runs. Admire the handmade crafts at the Craft Fair sponsored by St Germain Women's Service Club.  Performances by Life Wind Bagpiping, Dan Kirk Juggling, The Marvin, and Brian McLaughlin. Don't forget the K9 agility demonstrations by Amanda Drewsen!

There are so many groups that will have booths set up: Bo-Boen Snowmobile Club will have trail grooming equipment and a rescue sled, Fishing Guide Tom Nampel will teach kids how to cast and Grandpa's Farm will have a petting zoo. And, we're still not done! Also, visit folks from Trees for Tomorrow, Dr. Kate Museum, Wild Instincts, Plum Lake Fire Department, and Watersmeet Lakeguards. Kids will enjoy Balloon Sculpting by Fiona, ACA Jumps, and Smokey Bear with the WDNR Wildfire Prevention.

Food and beverages will be sponsored by the St Germain Lions Club. They will be located at both pavilions. 

The parade begins at 3pm on Highway 70 with motorcycles! Fireworks will begin at Dusk. Dress up in red, white, and blue and wish our country a 248th birthday!
